HONEYZ

Celena & Mariama rose to fame in 1998, topping the charts as the much loved RnB vocal group the Honeyz. The Honeyz were the first British girlband to be signed by Def Jam in USA. 

 

They achieved great success in the UK and around the world with their platinum selling album "Wonder No.8" . Honeyz debut single ‘Finally Found’ stormed the charts and remained in the top 10 for 10 weeks.

 

That success with soon followed by several top 10 singles including ‘End of The Line’, ‘Won’t Take It Lying Down’, ‘Never Let You Down’and ‘Love of a Lifetime’. Achievements include Gold and Platinum selling records, Brit and MOBO award nominations, being featured artists in ITV's award winning series ‘The Big Reunion’ which  documented the lives and careers of the most successful bands of the 90's and also sell out UK Arena tours.

 

Known for their impressive live vocals, Honeyz continue to perform as duo at venues around the country and abroad singing their classic hits, new material and some of their favourite tunes.
