Ben Ofoedu is best known for being the singer in Phats & Small and the fiancé of Vanessa Feltz, with whom he co-hosted the Vanessa Show for 126 shows on Channel 5, in 2012.

In 1999 Ben teamed up with dance giants Phats & Small & had a string of hits. Their debut single, “Turn Around” sold over two million copies worldwide. The follow up “Feel Good” also went straight into the Top 10 in the U.K. National Charts, as did their third single “Tonite”.

Ben was a regular presenter on MTV Select and Trouble TV. He has presented with the likes of Tess Daly, Ben Shephard, Richard Blackwood, June Sarpong, Cat Deeley and Edith Bowman.

In 2007 Ben & Vanessa participated in Channel 4’s Celebrity Wife Swap as well as winning £150,000 for charity on the Celebrity version of ITV’s Who Wants To Be a Millionaire. 

Ben then went on to take part in the Virgin 1 show A Restaurant In Our Living Room in 2010 catering for 25 people in their home.

Ben has also appeared on the celebrity version of the daytime quiz show Pointless on BBC1, Family Fortunes (ITV1), All Star Mr & Mrs (ITV1) with his fiancé Vanessa and Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Side (channel 5) as a panel member.

Ben played the role of the Genie in the successful Panto ‘Aladdin’ in Gravesend in 2014/15, alongside Jamie Foreman and Shane Lynch. In its 3 and a half week run the production broke all previous box office records for the venue & he continually received rave reviews. He went onto star in ‘Peter Pan’ in Sevenoaks in 2015/16 again alongside Jamie Foreman and Shane Lynch.

Ben has re-released his classic tune ‘Tune Around’ by Phats & Small on Armada Music with a new video recreating the original. The re-release also features fresh remixes by CALVO, Futuristic Polar Bears, Maison & Dragon and Mousse T. 

Ben featured on BBC1's Let's Sing & Dance For Comic Relief in March 2017.
